Maybe you should talk to her about her trrying to control your every move by being with her all the time. Tell her you need some time to yourself. Do you really want to break up with her or do you just want her to back off a little? She does sound like she is possessive, but if you still like her, I wouldn't break up with her. I would just talk to her about giving you some space. If you do want to break up with her, then I just would do it, before she gets too close where it will hurt her more.
well to start out if your sure you cant work through it at least make sure you break up with her in person. i suggest talking to her first about it and giving her a chance to back off. but for the actual breaking up just talk to her tell her how you feel and tell her the truth. she deserves that so she can hopefully take it constructively for future relationships she may be in.

one thing, don't ever brake up with her over the phone or with text. That would be the cowardly thing to do. You have to sit down and talk with her face to face, that's the best way to go. Yea she will be mad but over time she will get over it.
