I want to break up with my girlfriend but i really don't want to do it (yes, i know i'm a horrible person). How can I get her to break up with me? Or failing that what is the least painful way for me to break up with her?How do I get my girlfriend to break up with me?

You shouldn't find a way to make her break up with you. If you really don't want to than don't. But if you want to end it, end it. The longer you put it off, the harder it's going to get.
be boring is the quickest way apart from just breaking it up yourself

Just tell her straight that you wanted a break up.
just tell her the real honest reason you don't want to date her. don't leave it as a mystery, and don't cheat on her or do anything hurtful
You can't play games. You need to man up but, if you can't, tell her that you need some time apart, say 3 months (and then take another 3 until she becomes indifferent to you).
