How do i break up with my girlfriend?

I feel really lame for asking this but I can't come up with an answer to my own question. So, we've been going out for about 2.5yrs and we are currently in college. I really don't think of her as a girlfriend anymore, just a really good friend because I never really see her anymore and she doesn't even try to make any time for me. The main thing I want is to still be friends though because I still think she's a good person and all. Ideas?How do i break up with my girlfriend?
