How can I get my friend to break up with his girlfriend?

My friend feels obligated to his girlfriend because he's been with her for a year and she's really nice. Unfortunately, I let him know that I have feelings for him too late, and he always asks me why I didn't let him know sooner. He moved to Chicago for a fellowship this year, both his girlfriend and I live in Ohio. I went to see him last weekend and, well, a lot of things happened. Why should she have him? How can I convince him to leave her?How can I get my friend to break up with his girlfriend?
Sounds like your ';friend'; is enjoying having his cake and eating it too. If this man seriously wanted to be with you no distance would be too far. How can I get my friend to break up with his girlfriend?
From a guy's p.o.v. the answer is easy. I know alot of women don't want to hear this answer but, it is the truth. Obviously you two are involved in an ';emotional relationship'; already. The feelings are there and that doesn't seem to be the issue.


If you could take the relationship to the next level (i.e. sex, heavy-petting, etc.) it will likely make him re-evaluate his feelings for the other person.



you cant convince anyone to leave anyne.if he really really wants to be with you , he'll choose to be with you.but dont wait forever on someone who wont make up his mind.sounds to me like he knows he can have both and until that changes he'll continue to have both.
all you need to do is show him how much ud mean to him if u was with him insted of her





so when you next see him have a nice chat and then slowly build ur way up to telling him how much its hurting u to see him with somone els.





tell him how much uv liked him and what you would do to have him





just try ur best to convince him that he would love you so much more than her





but dont let it get out of hand








and if he still wants to be with the women he has now u have to just think '; hes found his true love now i have to find somone els';





coz theres plenty more fish in the sea





i wouldnt worry to much if u dont get him back





tthere will be another man out there who would treat you a million times more better than he would





all you have to do is find him and he just might be round the corner


if he says no then just de-attach urself from him and just








let it go just let it go





if all goes well then uv got the rest of ur life with him coz i know you would obviusly treat him right.


just be prepared for either yes or no from him.
